Brio Digital is partnered with a company in the financial services sector who are currently growing their mobile engineering function.
We are looking for a Senior iOS developer to support them as they build their mobile retail banking application.
Overview;
- Role; Senior iOS Developer
- Salary; £80,000-£100,000
- Location; London (2x/week)
Senior iOS Developer Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features and enhance existing ones.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance app functionality.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development best practices, tools, and technologies.
- Contribute to all phases of the app development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond.
Senior iOS Developer Experience:
- Professional experience in iOS development.
- Experience within Banking/Financial services or highly regulated environments.
- Proficiency in Swift and experience with Objective-C is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of iOS SDK and development tools such as Xcode.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with modern iOS architectures (e.g., MVVM, VIPER).
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for iOS (e.g., XCTest).
- Knowledge of App Store submission process and guidelines.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
