Core3 have been retained to help Miele recruit an exciting Finance Manager role based in Abingdon, Oxford. Hybrid working with 1-2 days per week in the office. £65,000-£75,000 plus amazing benefits.

How you’ll make an impact

The Finance Manger is a key, diverse and exciting role to drive ownership and accountability into Miele’s performance understanding and reporting, period close, posting accuracy, budget coordination, and ensuring the business meets statutory and group reporting requirements.

• Ensuring accurate and timely period close and reporting and to own the “what has happened” narrative across the business
• Ensure efficient, consistent and accurate reporting
• Establish and run month end management accounting, performance and balance sheet reviews
• To drive understanding and ownership into our cost drivers
• The one point of contact and one source of truth for all past performance questions from a P&L, Balance sheet and cash perspective
• Own the management and coordination of the Budget process
• Own the creation and issue of the periodic management reporting packs
• Simplification and standardisation of our processes to minimise non-value add activities
• Drive team development, learning and create career pathways.
• To create reporting and control consistency across the cluster across the P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
• Responsibility for the timely delivery of internal management reporting
• Coordinating the finance department during month end and year end audit

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the business
• Strong technical accounting skills with exposure to year end, audit and tax
• System & Process improvement experience
