JOB DESCRIPTION: Supply Chain Coordinator - Creasing Matrix (plastics), Packaging & Print
The primary focus of the Supply Chain Co-Ordinator position is to support our Head of Global Supply Chain in ensuring all the materials and components required to manufacture our products are readily available.
Additional key elements of the role will be to:
· Placing product orders across a range of suppliers and product groups
· Setting KPIs and ensuring suppliers adhere to them
· Reporting material shortages and fulfilling requirements
· Manage a large volume of SKUs (there are thousands in this role)
· Quality-Control checks of all orders placed to ensure accuracy
· Carrying out stock-takes routine and ad hoc in line with business requirements
This is genuinely an opportunity to work on and help develop a changing supply chain and purchasing function and will require a candidate who is strong willed and confident in their approach. We are currently standardising the supply chain management across all our sites so opportunities for efficiency and/or financial savings are ever present.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Supply Chain Coordinator - Creasing Matrix (plastics), Packaging & Print
Ideally, you will be a supply chain/procurement specialist with a keen focus on the overall function as well as Demand Planning, holding either CIPs/MCIPs or the equivalent or keen to attain them, we will help with this! Ultimately, youre looking for the next step in your career with a world leading manufacturer.
The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following:
· A flexible hands-on approach and attitude
· Excellent technical and planning skills
· Good overall organisation and projects skills
· Strong IT skills and great communication across all levels
· Any experience of the packaging and/or plastics industry in a manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:
Extensive training will be given in all aspects of our products, suppliers, and existing contracts. Our senior team will also provide ongoing support to ensure a smooth introduction to the business. We will also support our staff through their ongoing personal development and will gladly help with the cost of CIPs / MCIPS qualifications.
