We are currently seeking a HR Assistant to support the department in the assistance and coordination of people related activities based in Cambridge
Key Duties
- Create and maintain employee files and ensure the data integrity of the HR database is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Process contract requests, appointment letters and other HR related formal notifications
- Manage the induction process on a weekly basis, organising paperwork
- Provide first point of contact for HR queries ensuring a professional response
- Maintain and update trackers and spreadsheets to ensure reliable data
- Ensure all relevant contractual and legal employee requirements are met and maintained<
- Support with the leavers process, booking in exit interviews with the relevant team member, issuing any required letters, and informing the relevant departments
Experience in the following needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
- Previous experience in an administrative role, either within or outside the HR setting
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving
- Good IT skills
- Stakeholder Management
- Strong customer service skills
- Team Player
Qualifications
- Driving licence advantageous
- CIPD Level 3 (desirable)
- Passionate about own development and pursuing a career in HR
